A reimagined kit from Noro!

This kit "Square in a Square Blanket" originally made in discontinued Noro Kagayaki, now offered in Noro Haruito.

This pattern takes advantage of self striping Noro yarn, building one square at a time.  Easy to memorize pattern, bring it on all your summer adventures, and sew together an amazing colorful blanket at the end.  Beautiful silk and cotton yarn makes for a cozy piece soft enough for a baby blanket, but you may want to keep for yourself!

Color #1 & #10 is dominantly earthy and blue, with a pink and yellow center.

Color #10 & #1 is dominantly pink with earth tones and blue center.

Both colors will give a rainbow effect.

Kit Includes:

  • Six skeins of Noro Haruito (four in a main color and two in an accent color), 40% Silk, 40% Cotton, 20% Polyamide, handwash, lay flat to dry.
  • Pattern for Square in a Square Blanket by Irina Poludnenko

Additional Materials needed:

  • Circular 16" needle in US 8 (or try US 7, Haruito yarn is slightly lighter than original Kagayaki)
  • Tapestry needle
