Introducing Purl Strings by Minnie and Purl!
These hollow silicone tubes secure tightly to the end of your needle, allowing stitches to quickly glide onto it. Then you can move on with your pattern without worry. Later, snug that tube back onto the appropriate needle and stitches glide easily back to wherever you need to work them.
Purl Strings are particularly useful for all those popular top-down sweaters. One of the major advantages of a top down sweater is that you can customize the length as you go. But how? With the 24”-32” circular you are using you’ll likely have trouble trying it on to determine how long you need to keep stitching. Enter Purl Strings. Quickly slide your stitches onto the extra long silicone tube and feel free to try your sweater on without loosing any stitches. Then pop that tube back onto your needle, stitches slide back, so groovy, so rapidly. Now you can proceed.
Pack of try on tubing includes:
- 3 silicone cords
- 1pc is 2.5m long enough for a sweater body
- 2 pcs are 1.0m long great for arms or child sweaters
To use, simply insert the tip of your needle into the opening inside the cord end on both sides, move your work to the cord, and now you can check for fit as your project progresses. Comes in a metal tin.
